Friday 21/2 week 3

Well, the big news for today was our recorder lesson. We were all so very excited. Mrs Brattle explained some of the basic recorder skills to us. There is a lot to remember, but most important is that we need to have our left hand at the top of our recorder. Here is the video of us.

It was another hot day at Plateau School today. We had to concentrate really hard for our spelling test. Check out the results in the back of our homework books.

Summer has finally arrived!!

What a hot day we have had today (Not that we are complaining about the sunshine). We did some writing this morning about our imaginary trip to the desert.

We had swimming in the morning and we were working really hard to keep our arms on our ears and our chins on our chest. These things help us to stay straight and on top of the water. We hung our togs on the rack after our swim and they were dry by lunch time!!

In the afternoon Mrs Brattle glued on the values and rules for our "great Kiwi expectations" it looks great and we are all very proud of our classroom.

With only 20 minutes left of the day we went and had a shared swim with the Ruru class, it was a very nice way to end a lovely day.

Tomorrow we will have be having our first recorder lesson, our spelling test and checking to see who has been doing their book bag everyday. It's going to be a big Friday.
