11/11/16 Friday morning recorders

Tuesday 8th November

The weather this morning sunny but the ground was wet so Mrs Brattle couldn't go to the athletics.  This was kind of good but also kind of bad. Our day started with the run and notices. Brennan  was on photos for the blog as his job today.

We did our jobs of the roll and notices and merit points.

Here we are listening to news.

Here we are writting a story about being in the bush, it could be a made up story or a real story. Some of us worked so hard our arms got tiered!!!

After luch we made a start on our calendar art, they are going to look really beautiful.

7th of November 2016

This morning it was raining so we couldn't do our run, it was really pouring. We did our compulsory Monday news and then we did fitness. We do our own fitness called full speed. it is from Go Noodle.

For maths we didn't have too much time so we did our basic facts and emailed them to Mrs Brattle.

Then it was morning tea time, it was still raining so we had inside play. We had cool colouring Halloween sheets form our go noodle. Morning tea time was loud!

After morning tea we did our silent reading and then Paua arrived to find out about our must dos and can dos which are all about camping this week.

Kiwi and Paua then went off, and most of us worked hard.

We had a good day today.

We have been doing athlitcs for PE,  we have been  geting into  groups. By isla

Pe is about being healthy and playing sport and running. Beau

Kiwi class do it with kea and paua sometimes, it is a lot of fun. Pe gets you fit and it makes you happy and you will enjoy it too . Allysha

We have been doing throwing bean bags and catching balls  and hurdles and other stuff. Isla

In pe we practice our skilss and we get friendship too. if someone gets hurt  some one will give friendship they will hlep you. 

With participation you will try it you will not give up. And you will try your best to prove that you can do it. It is okay because you learn from your mistakes and that amkes you stronger.

Buddy reading

Mariah   We love buddy reading because it's really fun to reading is so fun because we love it and we always read all the time. we always go with our buddy readers. My favourite book is little white dogs can't jump.                                                                        

Emma B    I love buddy reading because everybody in the school loves it to. My favourite book is called" Becky and the bubble gum gun."

Worm wine

In kiwi class we have been scraping labels off wine bottles so we can put worm wees in them and sell them at the school gala. We will call it worm wine. It is very good for the garden.

Wacky hair day

Same people in the school have done wacky hair day.

 

Recorders

The people that came to recorders are the year threes, people from paua and all of the kiwi people.  it is in kiwi class,  it is very noisy when we are all playing the recorders. we just started number  11 today. We only play recorders on friday morning, we play them and there are lots of people. there are lost of people.

"This is our blog post about our enviro, it is the most important thing in the school. 

We really like the enviroment it is important to pick up your rubbish after opening stuff with a wraper.

Basic facts.is good for learning in kiwi class  we also love mathletics after you get your mathletitcs award you get free time on cool maths.

We have to email Mrs Brattle our basic facts results sometimes. Cool is sometimes hard and sometimes easy.

Tadpoles

These are tapoles from Mrs Roberts.   

 We have some tapoles that are crazy.  They swim around alot and they are fast.

 Our tadpols are really cute and adorable. We have a book in our library that shows us the life cycle of frogs.

Frist they start out as tiny white eggs with a black that moves around in the middle .

Next they hatch out and grow into tadpoles.

They start to grow bigger and grow legs, they are turning into frogs. 

This is a fully grown frog my back legs are strong .

I like to check our tadpoles every morning and after school as well. Emma C
